Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
This page describes what personal information DORVEA collects through dorvea.com, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the rights you hold over it. We have kept it short and plain on purpose.
1. Data Controller
DORVEA operates dorvea.com and is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question, email contact@dorvea.com.
2. What We Collect
When you order or contact us we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number and order details. While you browse we also receive technical data such as device type, browser and page navigation, which helps the site run properly. Card details are processed by our payment providers and are never stored by us.
3. Why We Use It
To process and deliver orders, send updates, answer enquiries, manage returns and refunds, and — only with your consent — send occasional product news. Aggregated, anonymous data helps us improve the site.
4. Legal Grounds
We rely on contract performance (your order), legitimate interest (running and improving our business), legal obligation (for example tax records) and, for marketing, your consent — which you may withdraw at any time.
5. Who We Share It With
Only the partners needed to fulfil your order: payment processors, delivery carriers and the logistics services that move parcels from our suppliers in Asia to you, including the Cainiao carrier network. They may use your data solely for that purpose. We never sell personal data.
6. Transfers Abroad
Some fulfilment partners are located outside the UK and the EEA, so data may be transferred internationally. Where that happens we apply appropriate safeguards to keep your data protected to an equivalent standard.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for these purposes or as the law requires (for example order and invoice records for accounting). Afterwards it is securely deleted or anonymised.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your basket, keep you signed in and understand site usage. You can manage or block cookies in your browser, though some features may then not work as intended.
9. Your Rights
You may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, objection to certain processing, and portability. Email contact@dorvea.com to exercise any of these. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No internet transmission is entirely secure, but we take care to safeguard your information once received.
11. Minors
Our shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Updates
We may revise this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The current version, with its date, is always published here.
